Power Management and Demand Limiting
AIMNET Smart Building Power Management services provide an unequaled means of analyzing, understanding and controlling a facilities use of electrical power.
Understanding electrical demand and how it is used by both the facilities infrastructure and its occupants allows AIMNET to maximize the efficiency of its use and automatically perform operations to reduce consumption.

AIMNET can also perform sub-metering for tenant billing, including actually forwarding the billing to the tenant for payment. And our web-based private control panels allow each tenant to review his use on a daily, weekly monthly or even hourly basis.

AIMNET monitors and controls power use with maximum savings as its primary goal

Demand Limiting has become an important part of maintaining our nations electrical grid stability. AIMNET is able to perform demand limiting operations to reduce, shed or divert a facilities power use during periods of high demand and to meet a power supplier or utilities' needs to reduce grid load.

Limiting and or diverting load during these periods will not only save energy costs but potentially reduce excessive wear on electrical motors during reduced electrical supply periods.

Substantial rebates and yearly incentives for AIMNET demand limiting services are available from many local governments and utility companies.

As costs of fuel continue to escalate we have seen some of the largest rate increases in history for the purchase of electrical power. It is becoming more and more important to use every means available to reduce a facilities use. AIMNET continues to pursue new avenues of reducing electrical consumption with new services and systems. And with AIMNET, your Smart Building systems are automatically updated to take advantage of these new services and concepts automatically and with no additional cost!

  Reduce energy costs
Much of AIMNET's ability to reduce electrical use and divert load is based on its ability to control the facilities Heating and Cooling Systems and to a certain extent its lighting load.

This requires that the AIMNET EMS Options and or Lighting Control options also be incorporated in the overall Smart Building System.

This is not required for monitoring or tenant metering features.

In some cases Demand Limiting and Load Shedding may be performed manually based on AIMNET monitoring.
