AIMNET PORT

An AIMNET port provides you with a local connection to the AIMNET Smart Building system.

A port allows instant connection to a range of managed technology services. Telephone systems, secured PC data networks, streaming & security video, firewall security with content management, high speed Internet access, environmental controls and more.

Other AIMNET local connections are connected directly to the device. Infrastructure monitoring and management services are wired to various sensors and wall mounted controls and not accessible via a port.

AIMNET ports are normally located throughout an office where access to one of the services is desired. In some cases only one port is required for multiple use. If you have an AIMNET telephone plugged into an AIMNET port, you may plug your PC into to your telephone for instant connection to your private network and secured internet access.
